Operation eBook Drop – Show your support of our troops!

Attention eBook authors. Now is your opportunity to show our brave men and women serving in the armed services how much you appreciate and support them. Operation eBook Drop is a program put together by Edward C. Patterson that puts our donated books into their hands. What a great Christmas gift to our troops! All you have to do is purchase some certificates from your publisher (or use your promotional ones) with download codes and then email Ed at ed#w#pat@att#.net (remove the #'s) and tell him you’d like to participate (over 200 authors are already!) and he’ll send you a list of troops that are participating. Once you have both, email the troop(s) and give them the code and a link to your publisher where they can go and download the book for free. It’s as easy as that!

Note: The Operation eBook Drop logo is from the Imagination and Graphic Artistry of K.A. M'Lady & P.M. Dittman.

In other news, be sure to drop back by on Monday. I’ll be interviewing the co-founder of The Sweetest Romance Author Group, mystery/romance writer, Miss Mae. Her books have received rave reviews and awards, and she brews up the best lemonade you’ve ever tasted. I believe her grandpappy past down the recipe *grin*. Anyway, she’ll be sharing a little about herself and her latest release, When the Bough Breaks. So be sure to drop by and show your support to this great writer and wonderful lady.

This is a great idea. I'm sure our brave troops will appreciate your generosity. It's awesome that over 200 authors are participating. What a wonderful way to give of your time and talents!

Thank you for putting the word out about this program Anne. I have a nephew who is serving in Iraq who has received several free ebooks that he's able to read and enjoy when he's not on duty.

Also, thanks for running your Thanksgiving Giveaway contest!

Hi Ladies! Thanks so much for dropping by. I'm very thrilled to be a part of Operation e-book drop. It's the least I can do to show my support of our brave men and women.

Kudos on being a part of this wonderful effort!

I am also a part of this program and have sent out approximately 60 emails to date. It's a wonderful feeling.
