Change is Coming

Don’t worry, it’s a good change. I’ve decided to spice things up around here. So, beginning next week, in addition to weekly author interviews, I’m adding Writing Tips of the Week by guest authors. And boy do I have a great line up of guests who will be sharing their expertise. Here is a brief list of the coming attractions on SBA:

Mary McCall will be Bashing Creativity Myths.

Laurie Alice Eakes will share Research Tips.

Brandon Barr will share his expertise in Sci-Fi writing.

Allison Knight will be guest posting on Characterzation.

Kylie Brant will give us advice on finding the right agent.

And many other authors will share similar writing tips each Friday. For a complete list of the coming guests check out my What’s New page in the side bar. I want to thank all of those who have agreed to participate. It’s sure to be a lot of fun and hopefully will be of some help to aspiring writers out there.

If you’re an editor, agent, or author of mystery/suspense/sweet-mild romance, and you’d like to share your publishing knowledge or do an interview feel free to contact me at: annepatrick07[at]yahoo[dot]com. I’d love to add you to the calendar.

Readers and Followers, if there’s a topic you’d like covered in my Writing Tips of Week, let your voice be heard. Just leave a comment and let me know. I’m sure I can find someone to oblige you.

I’m really looking forward to this new venture and I hope you are too! Oh, and have you noticed we’re nearing 100 followers on SBA. I’m thinking a party is in store once we reach that milestone. What do you think?

Okay one more thing and then I’ll shut up. Last month I had a drawing on my website for a free download of Fire and Ash. Due to the overwhelming response I decided to give two away. Congratulations to the winners, Anne Payne & Virginia Campbell. This month I’m giving away an autographed copy of Lethal Dreams. To enter the drawing, visit my News & Events page on my website for details of how to enter. Who knows, I may give two away!

Hi Anne: this post belongs after your interview with Regina but I'll give it here since I'm so late in posting and reading. Wish I could join the ranks of novel authors. I'd have to be in those ranks for a long time before I could add anything of significance as all your guests coming in the future. Your site certainly is active. Larry
