Journey to Redemption (Oct 09)
When the bodies of two unidentified young woman are washed up on the beach, within hours of one another, Detectives Morgan Reynolds and John Russo are teamed with their new boss, Lieutenant Chase McAdams, to investigate the gruesome discoveries. Similarities in both cases have a striking resemblance to a case the detectives had worked a year ago.
Charles Tate, alias, The Slasher, had ended life, as Morgan knew it, for both her and her young son. For almost a year she and her partner had chased after the man who left behind a trail of corpses identical to the ones that’d just been discovered. It wasn’t until he’d killed Morgan’s husband that they’d managed to arrest him. Morgan thought his apprehension was the end of her nightmare, but it was only the beginning.
Escaping during a prison transfer, Tate is making up for lost time, and this go around he’s making it even more personal. He’s kidnapped Morgan’s son, Jared. Claiming the evidence that got him convicted was planted, he’s giving Morgan 72 hours to find the person that killed her husband or he will kill her son.
Ties That Bind (early 2010)
FBI profiler, Jo McDaniels has an unusual gift. As with most profilers, they are able to take the evidence, background of the victims and crime scene photos and reenact in their minds what took place between the killer and the victim. But what if there are no crime scenes and the victims have been decapitated in order to hide their identity? This is where Jo’s unusual gift comes into play. Unlike most profilers in her field, she is able to go a step further. Using her psychic ability she is able to sense exactly what the victim felt prior to their death. Her ability allows her to get to know the victims better than anyone else. She not only feels their emotions; she feels their pain.
Sheriff Austin Garrett doesn’t quite know what to think of the sassy and beautiful profiler that is able to tell him more about the victim after a few minutes with her than the coroner knows. But he’s willing to try anything to catch the serial killer plaguing his community. In all his years in law enforcement, nothing has prepared him for the monster he is up against now. A killer so cruel and calculating that it leaves him no choice but to turn to Jo and her unique gift.
Jo knows the risk she’s taking by using her psychic abilities. The last time she relied on it, it almost cost her career as well as her sanity. As the case progresses and the body count rises they soon realize that Jo’s sanity isn’t all that is at risk. She has become the killer’s ultimate kill.

I'm confused. Is Escape From the Darkness & Road to Redemption both coming out in Oct? Will they be available for Kindle?
Thanks for your post Kris. According to my publisher Rogue Phoenix Press, Journey to Redemption will be available through All Romance eBooks, Manic Readers, Amazon Kindle and of course through the Publisher’s website. Ties That Bind, through Awestruck Publishing, will be available in both print and eBook. As for Escape from the Darkness—I decided not to go with my first publisher (the one who printed Every Skull Tells a Story) and it is currently under consideration with another publisher where I hope it will find a home. I want to thank you for the lovely email you sent. I’m glad you liked Mackayla’s & Galen’s story. And yes it is a prequel to Escape from the Darkness. I wrote it before I did Every Skull. Their story came to me about midway through the first draft. They were so persistent I had to stop and write a quick outline just to pacify them. I will be sure and let you know when the other two are available. Hopefully you won’t have to wait much longer to read Alex & Royce’s story.
