I meant to ask this when I posted earlier but my hands were quicker than my brain. How long do you wait to hear back from a publisher before submitting it someplace else?

Congrats again on Journey to Redemption's release!

Hi everyone! Thank you for all the well wishes. I feel so blessed at having great friends.

Cassie, I usually wait up to three months and if I haven't heard back on a query I'll submit it elsewhere. If it's a full manuscript I'll do a follow-up email after three months. Most publishers are very good at getting back to you in a timely manner. But it does take time to sort through all the submissions so you have to patient. Something I'm not very good at.

Read your interview and other post. They were both very interesting. I hope your sales goes through the roof!
